So I had a custom order I filled and shipped out, thinking all was well.  And then I get an email from the customer today, who was VERY sweet when she informed me that I had somehow had a moment of random dyslexia and done the wrong colorway on the wrong roving.

Insert shocked, embarrassed, ingenue Taryl *here*.

She offered to send to colorway back and I began working immediately on rectifying the order issue, plus a "OMgosh I am SO sorry!" free roving included, in apology for my slipup.  The order is done CORRECTLY this time and steaming/drying to be shipped out on monday.  Pictures of the correct skeins will be posted, as they are quite lovely, and the lovely-but-misappropriated hanks of roving from the first order will get to go to a new home through my shop.

I did say I was going to begin on Helena's Garden and still plan to, the yarn is even already soaking for the first colorway.  But I am moving all my dye stock solutions to a 4% concentration from a 1% concentration and making color formulation from two different concentrations is NEARLY impossible for my math-poor brain and oft-interrupted work time.  So I had a TON of 1% DSS I didn't want to waste by throwing down the drain - thus, I am doing a limited edition run of Kaleidoscope colorways, which are brilliantly rich, complex colorways thrown together Pollock-style to use up as much dye as possible.  They are on Corriedale and Coopworth roving, so the colorways will be extremely affordable in addition to beautiful.

There are four in the run right now, and among them is my newest absolute-favorite-ohmygosh-gorgeous creation (which, of course, Peter thinks is a bit ugly).  Pictures (and listings for sale) will be forthcoming, but right now I have to finish the custom order and ship out another two stock orders by Monday, so don't hold your breath until a bit later in the week.  It's going to be worth the wait, though!!!!
