I can appreciate a really pretty yarn but after awhile I get tired of buying stuff that looks good in the skein but like crap when I knit it up.  There's a time and place for art yarn, but it's not right now, at this studio *cough*kitchen*cough*.

While every once in a while it's nice to have skeins with several varying colors in it, I rather have a skien that is one color with a lot of depth with hand-dyed.  With some commercial yarns that self-stripe, I appreciate three or so colors, but with hand-dyed I'm just not as big as a fan.  I LOVE what you've been working on so far.
